Fractal Fish - Grouped Groupers

In this print, the scene outside the porthole can be interpreted either as waves or a school of fish. The geometric basis for this print is a fractal tessellation in which iterative arrangement of similar tiles according to a simple set of rules naturally creates a fractal boundary with a wave-like shape. "Fractal Fish - Grouped Groupers" is a limited edition of 50 digital prints executed in 2001; image size 12 1/2" x 12 1/2".
